Sun Kee Cheese Noodles

Judging by reviews online, you'll either love or hate its famous cheesy instant noodles. If you can't take too much cheese, give this a miss. If not, go for the noodles with grilled pork neck - said to be tender and smokily delicious.

Tsui Wah Restaurant

The ubiquitous chain has more than 30 branches all over Hong Kong, with many of them open 24 hours or till late. Most of the items on the menu won't disappoint, but highly acclaimed ones would be crispy bun with condensed milk, Kagoshima-style pork cartilage noodles and milk tea.

An old-school tea house where dim sum is served the traditional way - you have to fight for it when the trolleys roll out. There are over 30 items to vie for, but look out for unique ones such as pig liver siew mai, steamed chicken bun and steamed stuffed duck.

One Dim Sum

Though it didn't manage to keep the Michelin star it received back in 2012, fans still flock here for its tasty and reasonably priced dim sum. Recommended dishes include shrimp and vegetable dumplings, Malay steamed cake (a Cantonese dish despite its name) and the 'Four Treasures' chicken in beancurd wrapping.
